About LGP

30+ years of design & still going strong

“Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Unknown

Publication design found me back in the late 1980s when the rather unflatteringly named ‘desktop publishing’ swept through the graphic design industry. Thirty-plus years on and I have never looked back. At one time Looking Glass Press (LGP) ran as a four-person design studio in Canberra, but LGP is now ‘just‘ me—Sharon France.

I love typography and am a stickler for strong branding. My passion is to design great reports, flyers, posters and brochures—the ones that somehow effortlessly communicate with the reader. I love the challenge of creating social media tiles and ‘memes’.

When you choose Looking Glass Press, you are choosing to work with an experienced design professional. I will work with you—not only to meet your deadlines and budget, but to ‘surprise and delight’ you with a value-added service, that is second to none.

Sharon France—Looking Glass Press—publication design with heart!

Great advice

Sometimes our clients just don’t know where to start. We are always happy to chat with you about your design needs.

Put simply, I love what I do. I am excited about learning new techniques and keeping current with changes in the industry, while still holding on to good old-fashioned values like great customer service. For me it’s about making you and your business (or service) look great, through the materials we produce together, and to do that in the most stress-free way possible for you.
