Looking Glass Press is a leading communication design specialist. Established in 1987, we produce beautiful publications, punchy graphs, clever memes and all manner of thoughtful solutions to help you connect effectively with your audience.

For people and planet

In recent years we have been delighted to work with a number of organisations in the environment, social justice and climate change space.

We are dedicated to making a contribution for people and planet, and have special rates for ‘good people doing good work‘.

Our bread and butter

With over 30 years of producing publications for government departments, we have an enviable track record for delivering on time and on budget.

While bigger reports are our passion, we are expert at producing flyers, posters, conference materials and solutions for social media.

Feel good projects

Every now and again, we get to work on a project that fills our hearts and our minds.

They can be anything from a big series of A4 reports with a crazy deadline, to a simple one-off pro bono flyer for a fund raiser. The common thread is that these projects matter and will help create change.

Why not?

Not all projects (and budgets) are created equal… And there are times when a great project comes along for a great organisation and it just HAS to be done, and ‘making a profit’ seems like a really unimportant thing. We do these projects because we can, and often on a pro bono basis. Yeah, why not!

From Our Clients

Our clients know what they need and also know us best.

Here is a small selection of comments about our work.

We were most impressed with the professional services of Looking Glass Press in the up-dating and re-publishing of our Climate Action Kits in the Hindu, Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist and Christian traditions. Sharon was clearly dedicated to flawless, attractive and user-friendly results. Sharon was meticulous in her attention to detail yet met deadlines in a timely manner. It is always a pleasure to talk with Sharon, as she is friendly and generous-spirited, and she offered us competitive rates as well. I would highly recommend any business or organisation engage her services. You won’t look elsewhere once you’ve discovered Sharon at Looking Glass Press!

Sharon’s talents are second to none. I have worked with her for close to four years and her work is of an exceptional quality. She never fails to deliver outstanding graphical products to meet a range of our different campaigning needs, from social media graphics, reports, logos, banners and more. Her skills are diverse and her reliability is unsurpassed. Sharon works at the speed of light and never fails to deliver. She is such a delight to work with.

Projects—various memes, handbooks and flyers

In my career as a legal professional, I have enjoyed a happy and productive relationship with Sharon France and Looking Glass Press for over 30 years. Sharon has provided me with timely advice and excellent design options, particularly when we have had a need to re-brand or create a new brand.

Our most recent engagement we started with a re-brand and ended up with a suite of materials (business cards, with compliment slips, email footers, web graphics and signage) that we are delighted with. Sharon’s work exceeded our expectations.

It’s always a pleasure to work with Sharon, who produces very high quality work incredibly fast. I’m always impressed by her professionalism as well as her creativity in design and layout as well as in choice of images. Sharon’s patience and generosity also make working with her a breeze, when getting major reports designed can too often be highly stressful. I’ve taken major projects to her several times in a row and will continue to do so.

LGP has adopted Pantone’s 2023 Color of the Year—Viva Magenta across our communications collateral. To quote from the Pantone website:

Viva Magenta vibrates with vim and vigor. It is a shade rooted in nature descending from the red family and expressive of a new signal of strength. Viva Magenta is brave and fearless, and a pulsating color whose exuberance promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration, writing a new narrative. It is powerful and empowering. It is a new animated red that revels in pure joy, encouraging experimentation and self-expression without restraint, an electrifying, and a boundaryless shade that is manifesting as a stand-out statement. It  is audacious, full of wit and inclusive of all.

That’s probably why we love it!
