Why not…
Not all projects (and budgets) are created equal.
And there are times when a great project comes along for a great organisation and it just HAS to be done, and ‘making a profit’ seems like a really unimportant thing.
We do these projects because we can, and often do them on a pro bono basis. Yeah, why not!

Chameleon House Cookbook
One of the major benefits of owning a successful business is the ability to give back to the community. Typically LGP’s pro bono work assists NGOs working in the environment and climate change space. But in 2020 that all changed when the Karma-counter served up an encounter that was a ‘meant to be’ partnership.

Special thanks to Sharon France, of Looking Glass Press, for her assistance and expertise in making our cookbook a reality. We had no idea, but Sharon brought our idea to life. Without her, this cookbook would not have been possible. Thank you from the heart of the community.

Logo and program design
Hijabi Girl
Challenge was quickly converted to fun, as we worked with Elissa of Larrikin Puppets to develop a strong brand and logo for Hijabi Girl – a musical puppet show. This project then morphed into a number of communication assets, including a very colourful four-page program.
This is what joy looks like!

Australian Religious Response to Climate Change
It was a few years ago now, but in back in 2019, on the back of updating some ARRCC information assets, we were asked to design t-shirts to communicate strong faith-based messages, in response to our changing climate. Four messages were carried across three approved designs. Still available via Redbubble, it is an absolute thrill to see people wearing them ‘out in the wild’!
Sharon’s work is superb… she’s quick and responsive to our stated needs.

Dayboro community workshop
If you want the community to take you seriously, then you need to have a brochure that is eye-catching, informative and has just the right amount of gravitas. As with all of the other projects listed here, this was on a pro bono basis – no fee for service – again, acknowledging the efforts of ‘good people doing good work’.
LGP’s promotion advice and design skills for the flyer contributed greatly to attracting 50+ participants to the 2022 Dayboro workshop. We continue to receive ongoing enquiries at our regular Dayboro market stall and are considering running an update workshop later this year.
